Does anyone here know the song “Puff the Magic Dragon”? Do you remember the short television show based on the song that came out in the late 70s? Well I do… that is, I thought I did.

I decided to look for the Puff the Magic Dragon television show after listening to some children songs in the car with my son. He seemed to enjoy the song and that made me wonder if that fond memory of the show would hold up today.

It turns out that as usual, what one remembers from their childhood as being awesome turns out to be rather disappointing as an adult. It’s so comical to re-watch something you only have a fleeting memory of from your childhood.

When I finally came across the video, I was so pleased that it looked pretty much as I had remembered, despite not having seen it since I was a young child myself – I mentally scored a few points there alone.
