Alright, let’s see a show of hands folks - who here has seen the television series Dead Like Me?

Nice, niiiice! I was not expecting so many hands in the room… so, of those that have seen it, how many loved this series?

Alright! That’s what I wanted to see! Beautiful! It’s great to be amongst a sizable group of fans! It’s always good to know that I’m not the only one out there that loves a truly screwed up show!

But for those of you that have not seen this show, what you need to do is check out the television series before seeing this movie, because it would be nothing less than a total sea of confusion. The 2 season series really is excellent; it’s a dark comedy/drama about life after death.

For the majority of people, death is the end of life. It is not so cut and dry for those that have been chosen, some don’t get to walk into the light - they live out their afterlife amongst the living, as Grim Reapers. As grim as that may sound, their jobs are not to take the lives of the living, they save their souls just before death - saving them from the unspeakable pain and suffering, helping guide them into the light.

But it’s rarely that easy for a Grim Reaper, you never know exactly who is going to die, or how. The only thing that is certain is the time of death, the location, and their name - it’s your job as a Grim Reaper to be there before the end, to touch them and release their soul just before death.
