Monoprice loves me! I really think they love me! They put $120 back into my pocket without blinking an eye over the Holidays, and I want to share my experience with you.

So my wife and I got a new 1080p TV for Christmas. With this new TV came new Hi-Def equipment. That translated into me needing a couple of HDMI cables… and being new to the whole Hi-Def world I had no idea what the hell I was getting, other than a great deal on a TV.

I ended up getting a 40″ Samsung TV. I also picked up an HD PVR and a Bluray player, and I needed HDMI cables to connect them all up. At the advice of the store’s sales clerk I picked up a couple of 3′ Monster Cables.

When I got to the cash register I was more-than-dumbfounded at the freakin’ price of these cables! With taxes it was just over $150!! Now folks, that… THAT is a SERIOUS WTF moment! Seriously? Two cables? $150?
