Today is Boxing Day here in Canada. What does that mean? We Canadians take part in a yearly gathering where families make a huge bonfire out of all the boxes, ribbon, bows, and wrapping paper from the previous day’s gift unwrapping extravaganza. We stand by the blazing fire to stay warm as we sing songs, have a drink, and eat sugary sweets, like maple fudge! It’s a little weird, but it’s all part of Xmas here in Canada.
