Okay, so I am officially a Doctor Who fan.  I might not be a hardcore fan…I’m admittedly clueless about the first nine Doctors.  But I have been doing some serious Netflix turn-around action on the latest David Tennant incarnation (the Tenth Doctor).

I mentioned the good Doctor previously, after catching an episode on BBC America.  But since then I’ve really gotten into this series.  It’s just smart, well-written sci-fi television that always seems fresh and always has great humor throughout.   The tempo is quick-paced and there’s plenty of action and wit.  I like it much more than other recent sci-fi shows I’ve seen (Enterprise, Heroes).  Probably not as much as Karn like Buffy…but that’s another story.

Give it a shot - you can catch it Saturday nights on BBC America.  Hey, they even have a game on the website that lets you play as a Dalek.
