The Holiday season, the time of year where everyone is madly trying to figure out what to buy that special someone (on my list, that includes me) but also trying to minimize the time they spend in line ups at the freakin’ malls. I really do not enjoy jockeying for an awesome parking spot that’s actually, like, 1000 feet away from the nearest mall entrance! Grrrr!

I thought I would do what made sense to me; I scoured the things we’ve posted about here on AGR over the past 6 months and starred items that I feel are purchases we’d recommend. It turns out the list is rather extensive. For the most part I have catagorized things by type, but I wanted to highlight my favorite thing of 2008 right here at the top, before the jump!

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog

For the Doctor Horrible fans out there, you cannot go wrong with the upcoming DVD and CD. It is very likely your special Dr. H. fan has already purchased and downloaded the MP3 album off iTunes or Amazon, so I would steer away from that. While the DVD and CD have not been released yet, they are available for pre-order on Amazon… and the prices are currently lowered, so I’d get in on it now, especially if you are buying them in multiples!
