Spent my time hanging around my usual haunts this week. Word around town was that some pretty Crazy Shit was going down.
I don’t know how it came to be that I was unaware of all this so called Crazy Shit, so I headed downtown to check it out for myself. It appears as though they were right.
I decided to catalog my findings; I’m sure most would never believe if it were not for me chronicling it all in my journal… so without further ado, here’s the Crazy Shit I found, as stored on my Tumblog at i am karnatos; spread the word.
- Astro Boy: Teaser and Photo Premiere
- “Big Boy” Face Paint = Disturbing
- Bike Hero on EXPERT
- Star Wars Steampunk Renders on CGSociety
- The Guild: “Link the Loot” (S02EP01)

Yeap! That’s right folks! I mentioned last week that Buffy and the rest of the Scoobies were all on Twitter, but I’ve learned that Mal and the rest of the crew of Serenity are there as well!
I must admit up front that I am not as up-to-speed with what is going on with the Firefly-Twitter crew, but they are definitely role-playing it up! I just started following them this past week, and I am trying to pinpoint what time it is they are playing in the ‘Verse…
Even though I’ve not had the time to figure out where in the Firefly/Serenity time line they are in their role playing, or if they are purely RP’ing it up and not following the episodes, but since Wash is still around I can only assume it’s pre-Serenity movie!

I was checking out Nicholas Brendon’s blog last week. I heard that he was on Criminal Minds and I wanted to check out what he had to say, if anything.
Well, he only has a quick blurb about it. In checking out what he links to, Blood on the Highway definitely caught my eye. A quick click, and I was greeted with a freakin’ My Space page!
I screamed “My Eyes!” as I clawed at the screen (I’ll save you from the same horror by not including that link).
Somehow I managed to keep interest and found the movie’s official page on my own, and I was happy to find a well laid out site with a damn cool looking poster for the movie. And lookie what I see here, Nicholas gets top billing, right there on the top row folks!
Even if he was not in this movie, I would definitely be checking this sucker out. It’s a low budget vampire movie, but don’t let that sway your opinion, you need to check out the trailer, it’s killer! No no no! Seriously! There’s going to be some classic lines that come out of this movie!
So I’m putting this movie on my must-see list. I don’t have many things that I put on that list, but I just feel I need to see this… now go check out that trailer!

Season two of The Guild has launched today on LIVE Marketplace, Zune, and MSN Video. If you are anything like us here at AGR, you have been waiting for this for a very long time, and you won’t be disappointed!
Apparently I am an MSN Video noob, because although I knew it was released, I couldn’t find it (granted, I was going by links provided by The Guild website, which apparently just linked to season one). I had figured it was only on LIVE and Zune, and would be coming later… oops. But I finally got my hands on it and let me just say this - I haven’t laughed this much in a long time. I’ve linked the video below, be sure to watch, it’s a real geek-out!

Now that Wrath of the Lich King
isn’t taking my every waking moment, I found some time to write! (Also, if you are a WoW player and HAVEN’T picked it up yet, what are you waiting for?!)
But that isn’t what this is about. Today I am just going to give you a short little thing on a site that I have been using recently (because seeing is better than hearing about, right?).
The site? ShutterCal.com of course! ShutterCal is pretty much what it sounds like - a calendar site with photos. Your photos. Other people’s photos! Lots of photos! The idea is pretty basic as well, as explained by their about page, “…documenting one image per every day of your life will leave you with an impressive visual history to look back on.”

This past week I finished the first season of Buffy Between the Lines. I had mentioned just before Halloween that I was listening to the first episode, and here we are 3 weeks later and the first season has been consumed.
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again - Buffy Between the Lines is very entertaining. It bewilders me to think of the amount of work and dedication pulling off episode after episode would take. The voice actors all do a bang-up job of conveying their individual character’s essence, making for a great listen.
If you are wondering who is behind the BBtL team, check out the last sentence from Tabitha Grace Smith’s website (the BBtL team’s leader):
… “She manages a team of nearly 200 cast and crew members, all of who are in different states and different countries.”
Amazing, no? Here’s a list of the entire cast and crew from season 1… consider me even more bewildered now!
This first Between the Lines season of Buffy was fantastic. It takes place between seasons 5 and 6, and the Scoobies get to face their first Big Bad without any help from Buffy.
After the jump I’ll talk about more specifics of the season, but be warned that there are some spoilers for anyone that’s not seen season 5 of Buffy.

Hard to believe another week has screamed by, but scream by it did. It feels like I barely got anything done this week, what with all the internet surfing cutting into my productivity time!
Ever notice that sometimes chores and tasks, not to mention that whole day-job thing, really cuts into your internet enjoyment time? It pisses me off sometimes, but I am a creative guy, so I find ways to make the time to just park my ass in front of the computer and get some good one-on-one time with the webbernets.
And this brings me to Friday… the day I share the better things that I’ve found online this week. So here’s the stuff I came across this past that excited me enough to post to my Tumblog at i am karnatos:
- New Star Trek Trailer
- “Where the Wild Things Are” Interview with Spike Jonze
- Custom Buffy and Angel LEGO Minifigs
- The Monty Python Channel
- Fanboys: The Ultimate Quest For Star Wars Episode I
- Bicycle Hero
