There were just so many options at the Festival: panels, screenings, live music, games or just wandering and shopping in the main hall. People also seemed to be putting a lot of time into intricate photo shoots. If you’re looking for cosplay photos you can try here, here or here.
Panels
The panels were terrific - featuring interesting topics and fascinating speakers. I enjoyed each one I went to and there were no technical difficulties or problems.
My favorite panel was definitely “Spoiler: The Panel: The Sequel: The Panel” by Disorganization XIII. If you didn’t already guess this was a humorous panel and it was hilarious. It was essentially a PowerPoint presentation on a giant screen with members of the panel taking turns providing narration and occasionally holding up signs. They lambasted everything and anything in anime in wild and offensive fashion. I enjoyed every minute of it and I am now officially a fan of the Disorganization XIII crew. Even though they poked fun at anime you could tell they also loved it. I actually had seen most of the anime they were making fun of which surprised me. I’ve seen a lot more than I realized.
