I‘ve been visiting websites with collections of casual flash games for years. I just love having some quick fun and seeing the interesting ideas game designers come up with. But I never actually registered an account at a website to play flash games. They all let you play without registering so why bother doing something I loathe to do? That changed with Kongregate.
Sure, their collection of games is better then most and updated frequently. But that’s not why I registered. No, I was lured in by the promise of winning challenges and getting special awards and badges. If that sounds cheesy - how come achievements are so insanely popular on XBox Live? Since I’m going to be playing flash games anyway, I figured it would be fun to get levels and digital trophies for doing so.
I eventually get to my point on the new meta-game Kongai after the jump.
